bugs and suggestions:

1.) upcoming and past events should be sepated, now there are upcoming and all as "recently added"

2.) in "My Events" panel should be not only event that i created but also event that I joined.

3.) It shouldnt be a possibility to join past events

4.) participants should have a possibility to upload picturea/videos... to past events

5.) there is no option co create a private event (with invitations or for friends) with invisible content
there is only option  "allow to post" on forum (but threads are visible) and "allow to view and post" on comments,
photos/videos... are also visible.

6.) not finished yet: share, invite, edti

7.) great idea with cattegories added by users

Point 4.) is really important ! Participants not having the possibility to upload pictures/videos to past events is meaningless indeed !!!

 

This is a self-evident truth that pictures/videos of any events will exist only after the events !!!

I agree with Michel about point 4.  We have many night-clubs that sponsor events and they absolutely LOVE to show people what they missed.  Also people who attended an event like to see pictures of themselves from the event.

Alex, while you're at it, can you give us a way to modify the events categories?  (We don't do much 'bush walking' here in Houston)

Ok, bushwalking is not popular in Houston :)

Default categories can be changed in Dolphin Admin Panel -> Settings -> Categories

then select Events in modules dropdown.

The ability to add new categories has been added, you will be able to test it in next beta.
