D7 Moderators

Hi, So I'm used to D6 and it having the moderator function, my question is what happened, I managed to created a membership that allowed people to deleted and approve items posted on the site but they cannot edit accounts or anything, will moderators be coming back or is this no longer important? Any feedback?

The easiest thing I found was to create a new Membership Level (Settings>Membership Levels). You will need the payment module installed for this. Give it a Name (ex. Moderators) upload a little logo for it, give it a description (Site Moderator) and then click save.

You will now see it under levels. Put a checkmark in it and click Enable. Now click the new Moderator link (not pricing). When you click it, it will show you all the options you can put checkmarks in and just click Enable when your done.

There ya go. You can then add or remove permissions at any time.

Also don't put a price option for the level and it will not appear under avaiable membership options for the My Membership options.
