What's up with permission level for the inc directory? When trying to install beta8 it says that /inc should be non-writable but is set to writable.
Is chmod 755 not correct?

I'm getting the same message! What to do? I'm in the final step of the install script. Shall I click next at the script screen or? |

Particular permissions depends on hosting, please contact your hosting support about it. As temporary solution you can try to chmod 777 inc Rules → http://www.boonex.com/terms |
Are you running suPHP by any chance? My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
Running suPHP by any chance - yes, and I'we got to know that -
You should always skip the final permission changing step if you're installing on CGI or Windows (CGI in your case which is the same as suPHP)
Nice to know! |
Is there a permission list so I can compare files, maybe that is the issue with my video and sound. |
It turned out to be a problem with my FTP client. Try changing the permission via your Cpanel and see if that works for you. |
