D7.3.5 Ads Search failing

Hi all, i'm experiencing a lot of trouble with the "search ads" facility with D7.3.5 which is a real headache as we're building our whole site around the ads module.

Example:

Search lamborghini fetches 100's of results

search ferrari fetches 100's of results

search Aston martin fetches 100's of results

search Porche fetches 0, nothing, nada, sweet fa and there are 100's of them

Search Ford  fetches 0, nothing, nada, sweet fa and there are 100's of them

And so it goes on

Anyone any ideas as to what may be causing this?

As you can imagine the search facility is very important to us and if it is failing so will our site.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi Ed. This doesn't answer your question, but if you're building your site around the module, it may pay to invest a few dollars to purchase Modzzz's Premium Classifieds. it does things a bit differently but has many more bells and whistles. He has a demo site, so you can give ithe module a pre-purchase thrashing.

Thanks for the lead John,

It's not the ads module i have an issue with but it is the site search facility

I found one bug in it a couple of weeks ago which is now on github for investigation and now i think we may have found another.

Members can place their ads easily enough but if prospective buyers can't find them in a search then the site is a non starter.

That's why I'm suggesting the Modzzz option. If the search doesn't work, he will at least fix it.
