 I tried to make a test name on new software with this new spam control and when i click to finish profile, it says "sorry your IP has been banned" yet it is same IP as admin account and I can log into it..below are the settings, now I even unchecked those and looked in database for blocked IP's and can not find it.

I went back in and changed the DNS Blocklist and now can log in with fb connect. I had another member try logging in when I had all 4 enabled and would not allow them in. I will try a new account now to see if that works. I also can say that I have another account on there as well for testing and it has allowed me in. So no clue about the blocked IP..lol same IP each time. Maybe this was the reason as it says (any), but why would you have this.? I am new to security, so bare with me. So far love the new upgrades!

By default admin account is never blocked, admin account can be blocked when "IP blacklist system mode" is set to "1" - is this case accounts are blocked before user reach login page. By default it is set to "2" and users ache checked upon login or join only. Rules → http://www.boonex.com/terms |

It looks like you mean "IP list type" setting, it makes sense if you have some rules setup. For example if you want your site to be accessible from your ip only (when site is in development) then you are allowing your ip and set this setting to 2 - your site will be accessible from this one ip, or more ips if you added them to "allowed" list.If you set it to "2" and didn't add any addresses to "allowed" list - then your site will non accessible from any ip.
