Cutted titles on main page

we have problem with the events. The titles are cutted on the main page. Where do i set the maximum length of the titles?

If I had to guess there is probably a overflow: hidden in the CSS Stylesheet but I have'nt located that particular one. It is designed to only allow the width of the Image associated with it, so if you increase that, you are also increasing the title width. Again that will be either CSS or in a .php file. Vague? why yes, yes it is :) Everything is pretty much spread among several possible locations.
