Custom work required

I would like to know if it is possible for someone to do a custom job on this script for me please. "Paid of cause".

I am not using this script as a dating site at all but instead as a friends meeting place which will all be free to join and chat/use.

What I am after is some sort if instant chat feature panel much like Facebook's/Twitter's where members can place messages about their day or what ever they like which can be read only by the friends in that members friend list. With the added "Upload a small image" included.

There could also be some kind of "Like/Hate" this comment, The use of Smilies would also be a create advantage as well.

This can be done on say a seperate/new tab menu call "Comments" or "Your Say" something like that.

Another feature which I would like created is a small instant chat panel placed in a box type feature much like the "Site Stats" box but perminantly staying on the new page being created above. Members could chat to selected members in there friends list instantly in private or as a group depending on who they allow into the chat with them.

I also need a place where text and banner Ads can be displayed on the right side of every page. Included would need to be a link with allows members to place there ads "Paid" .

My intention is to make the money through advertising rather than through members paying fees.

If anyone is interested in doing this for me it would be greatly appreciated and save me looking for some outside developer who doesn't know the script.

I'm not out for bids or for the lowest price. I want a good job done and will pay for that job to done right.

This is not about money at all, it's about finding someone willing and able to do this work for me as I am not a programmer.

Where you got I was upset in my reply I have no idea.

Yes the bid part did get me as I have had experiences with bids for jobs before and they all lucked out as being usless and a waste of time and money. This is the reason I didn't like the idea.

I placed my post here as it does say market & jobs forum section. I didn't see an issue in requesting for a job to be done within a job title board. If that upset you then I am sorry but I didn't place the JOB title board on this forum, I just used it for what it ment/said.

Maybe you should rename or remove that title for future reference.

I shall do what you so desperately want me to do and spend that 5 bucks to post in the other jobs section if that will make you happy as I am sure that is all you are after is that 5 bucks.

I will be buying the premium licence as soon as I can put the 500 bucks together as money is quite tight at the moment as I am offering everything for free and I will be buying other mods as well in the future again once I can put that money towards it.

What I have seen about your market place is a lot of mods which aren't supported anymore, users upset becaus ethey don't get responses, and mods which don't work with current versions.

This alone scares me in wanting to spend more than the minimum as it makes me think I am going to be wasting my money if I spend more, Like the 100 option for example.

 Anyway I will post in your so called proper section and see what happens,, at least the worst that can happen is I loss/waste 5 bucks.

I understand the reasoning, but forums are more traditionally used for discussions.  While we have a forum called "Market and Jobs," it's meant more for discussions about those areas.  For example, while there are support topics for products in this forum, there are no actual postings for the products themselves.  It makes no sense to allow actual postings here, since we have a dedicated area for it.  Besides, to post in that area requires a paid membership, which means posting here is circumventing that requirement.

While it's true about the market having some bad lemons, they are always being blasted to the dark side of the moon.  I've dealt with a lot of disputes and reports.  I boast a $number % success rate.  Basically, if a problem is encountered, file a dispute or alert the moderators.  We'll make sure it's all better, so long as the person reporting the problem isn't the source of the problem itself.

You might not have seen the recent note from Andrew, but the market is undergoing some drastic changes.  It's now required to include specific information in a product's description, and there are also rules regarding licenses and third-party integrations, bridges, etc.  Products which aren't updated will soon be removed, and developers should be incorporating these rules into their products now.  This should get rid of those unsupported products.  But even still, a report is all we need to look into those products and take action now.
