How do I make links open in a new window (not all but, just some)?

When creating a link, there is an option to input an Icon. This can either be the name of a fontawseome icon (eg. 'save') or it can be an image (eg. 'clock.png'). If you are using an image, it must be placed in the images folder (templates\base\images\icons)

Version 2.0.1 released. (see patches/version_2.0.1 folder for instructions)

This patch allows links to open in new window (optional). There is a new option on the add/edit form to allow you to modify each link.

This mod has been updated to fix the display of links in a block in multiple columns. Re-upload the module files and clear cache.

I have multiple menus and they are somehow mixing up.  The links in menu A appear under Menu B.

 Please PM me your site Admin login so I can take a look.

An update has been made to the mod to improve the verification process when creating a link. Re-upload the files and recompile the language for the module.

This mod i liked. I am glad I have this that i can use my time to work, while you helping to update others.

Now in this for me and so for others who might be thinking to buy.

 Icon - This is the icon displayed on the link button.

I see folder only has one icon. Can you guide where to find others

I found newspaper.png icon and added in icons folder under templates but i can't see it in links 

 Url - This is the URL to which the page is redirected when a link is clicked.

 Script - This is javascript coding that can be executed when a link is clicked. 

please advise what script. Example If I add script there, then how that will work, can you show some example as its confusing

 Eval - This is PHP coding that can be evaluated to determine if the link is shown or not.

This also not understood so once you free, please help to educate on this as well.

i am concerned on icon

The mod will be updated to remove the Eval option as that won't be understood or used by the average site administrator. The Javascript option is an advanced option for site owners who already understand that concept. You can Google some basic tutorials on how to use Javascript. Giving you an example of Javascript will be useless if you do not understand what it is or how to use it.

This is a fix for the issue where the wrong links are showing in a block. An update has been made to the following file :

modules\modzzz\clink\classes\BxCLinkModule.php

The function to open a link in a new window does not work.  I set up an example on your demo website.  Go to the Account page.  There is a block at the top labeled 'test'. click on Monkey House. It is supposed to open in a new window - it doesn't.

An update has been made to the following file to fix an issue with opening a link in a new window :

modules\modzzz\clink\classes\BxCLinkModule.php.php

There's still a problem with this module. if you insert a url such as:  https://www.boonex.com/ into the link definition, the colon gets stripped out and the mod tries to open https//www.boonex.com/, and the page is not found.

Version 2.0.2 released. (see patches/version_2.0.2 folder for instructions)

Added the ability for link blocks to appear on new pages created in the page builder.
