Custom HTML instead of image reloader - TinyMCE?

When you don't want to use the image reloader for the promo block, and instead use the "Custom HTML Block", I get this absurdly tiny TinyMCE editor - just a little bigger than one inch square.  Further, it doesn't do anything except bold, italic, etc - you can't even change font size.  What's with that?  It was fine in 6.1.  Is this just something they forgot to do?  It means I really can't even do a decent mock-up of my site.

UPDATE: Related question - on my join form I also have an extremely narrow TinyMCE field - the "Description Me" field - but also several of my multiple select fields are too narrow to display their content.   Can this width be changed anywhere?  I tried changing the width of the column it is in with no effect.

I totally agreee with you on this also. Please give us back our promo html we had in 6.1, this new section is totally useless! It seems they take 1 step forward then 2 steps back. Come on guys, I don't think anyone complained about this section and see no reason why you thought you had to change this.

Thanks Lightwolf - poking around the extensions, I find these miniscule tinyMCE fields are everywhere - events, groups, etc.  See the "News" extension, however - nice and wide with all the functions - that is the way they all should be.

To perform fast fix - edit your admin/basic_settings.php

and change

'html' => true

to

'html' => 2

Okay I tried this and it gave me back my builder but when i put a pic in it it shows in admin section, when i click save i get this pic on main site

My pic should be where the \"\" are instead. When I go back to admin settings promo blick html shows the same thing. Pic is gone.
