Custom Error messages?

Where dose someone change the error message when a member (or guest) tries to visit a page and gets the access denied message? Not just the 'access denied' part.

Try looking at this topic, describes all of what your asking and maybe more.

After trying to do this, this was not the exacts keys I was looking for. See image below. The message in red is what I'm trying to change.

Go to language keys and type in the filter box, "Access Denied" and then look at the different ones that come up.

I found it. It is not a language key. It turns out it is a line in the source code.

/modules/forum/layout/base_en/xsl/defalut_access_denied.XSL

LINE 6

Perhaps this will help someone else.

Go to language keys and type in the filter box, "Access Denied" and then look at the different ones that come up.

You should have stated the forum in the first place.

Anyhow. You edited the wrong file. That file is the compiled _en version. You will loose it the next time you recompile the forums.
