Custom Blocks

Ok I have tried everything except ask the pros.  I have pulled what is left of my hair out over this one.  I have had great success with JTadeo's Custom PHP block instructions.  I have added a block and a page per Mr. Powless' instructions, and both work fine, fine until I add Google maps.  I have tried adding the codes for Google Maps by HTML Block, By PHP block, and even using a require_once in a php block.  Here is the problem; the map will integrate and show on Firefox only.  In either Opera or IE I get nothing, not even an error code.  Have run debuggers and even they show the page completely loaded, except no map showing.  Anyone have any suggestions I have run out of places to look for this one.

Thanks,

Reginald

I have tried disabling the security mods you contributed to us, to no avail, so it looks like they are not the problem.  Besides I would think they would not allow Firefox to see the maps too if they were the problem.  Thanks for the input though.  Looks like I am back to scratching my head.

I have a suspicion it has something to do with the if lt IE 7 png fix script.

Hello there, Im not sure what google runs, but Im unable to run rss feeds(streaming) on Internet Explorer...in Firefox everyhting is perfect...searched google and found that IE is toublesome regarding streaming on WMP, while FF is OK....

This is just a suggestion to look at the problem somewhere else, such as IE...mybe your ie security settings are preventing it form displaying?

If something is wrong b/c of patches for dolphin, or building those blocks improperly, then it wouldnt show in FF.

Oh do not misunderstand me, I realize there is nothing wrong in Dolphin that is casuing the problem.  However, I believe there may be an issue with the png fix script in dolphin (perhaps not up to date) that is not allowing the Google maps to load.  I also found that in IE there is some kind of block built into the browser to stop certain things (streaming feeds, Google Maps and some other issues that will not run in IE when in a div tag or an indexed table, is that not how everything pretty much runs in Dolphin?  The Div tag issue in FF is non existant.  When I ask for the work around on this from them they say running those things within Div tags and indexes is illegal, do not ask me what they mean.  I am continuing to work on it but my honest opinion is to work for Firefox to Take over the web.
