I have seen all kinds of posts regarding what to do to enable search by zip code range. I see notes about how to import the zip code table, problems with too many entries, multiple country conflicts, the table not being normalized, enabling/disabling fields in the builder, etc. etc. etc...
What is the real story? I have a default 6.1 install and I'd just like to be able to do a radius search for US Zip Codes. Is there a concise set of instructions on how to get this running?
Given that the default fields during user signup are "country" and "city" it makes the proximity search impossible. I think latitude/longitude search is pretty much assumed in dating sites these days, how can I get Dolphin 6.1 up to speed? Thanks.
