CronJob question

Hi all Laughing

After 3 days of installing Linux on my new V-Server (because I could not use ffmpeg on my current provider) I have now a test community. After setting up the cronjobs I get this message in email:

<b>Warning.</b> Dolphin cannot work in safe mode

Is this normal? My safe_mode is off. What does this message mean?

Cheers

Tom

Which version of DOLPHIN are you using.? You can check your PHP variable w/ a phpinfo file. Or you can open up your PHP.INI file and ensure the RegGlobals_OFF, Safe_Mode_OFF.

I'm using Dolphin 6.1.4. It is all OFF... You could check that here: http://h1408135.stratoserver.net/dolphin/test.php

No problems while installation today. Only this message in cronjob email...

yeah looks off to me, one of those anomolies. could have wacked something during the install. try an install on a subdirectory and see if it pans our for you. this script does all kinds of freaky stuff from time to time. your phpinfo() looks good.

Hopefully I can figure it out. Or someone of you can... ;-)

I am having the same issue.  Were you able to figure out a solution?

Thanks,

Maybe your server uses different php for command line and for web site. So you need to turn off safe mode in php for command line.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
