Hello Modzzz, I am wondering when the credits for 'simple chat' and 'video messenger' will be available?

Its been a along time now and I am keen to seen it all working ;)

I don't mean to seem rude but when ??  It's been almost 5 months now since you said it would be added to next release ...

This has been long awaited ... I have half of your code for this particular credits feature in my files and other people are getting this mod assuming this is a working function as it's detailed in market listing.

there is an issue with adding code to: modules/boonex/membership/classes/BxMbpTemplate.php for credits / membership 7.1 !!

when adding the code provided it causes member.php for fail and loads plain white/Broken page

please help

Also simple messenger and video messenger credits do not work ?

users are able to use both features without credits ...

How do you remove edit packages ?

 You have made some mistake in the file changes. I would have to look at what you did.

 Download the mod again and re-upload this file to your server :

After you've purchased credits you're taken back to a page that says:

"There are no transactions" see attached pic. It is a bit misleading for someone that have just spent money purchasing credits.

However, if you refresh or jump between the tabs

You see the successful purchase.

In future updates it is perhaps possible to give the buying member an instant confirmation that he has successfully purchased credits. Or is there a line of code that could be shared now to achieve that result?

Im getting the following error with the module installed and NOT installed when trying to view a member profile page:

Fatal error: Call to a member function isAllowedDonate() on a non-object in /templates/base/scripts/BxBaseFunctions.php(131) : eval()'d code on line 1"

Modzzz...does this module allow you to use a different payment gateway/processor other than Paypal?  In other words, if I have another payment module like CCBill Payment Provider by IgorL (http://www.boonex.com/m/CCBill_Payment_Provider), can your module be used to use that payment gateway instead?

It is presently being upgraded to use the shopping cart so it will use any payment gateway integrated in Dolphin.

Version 2.1.2 released. (see patches/version_2.1.2 folder)

Credits are now bought through the shopping cart.

I bought the credits module, because for some reason I couldn't download it from the market. I un-installed the old version and installed the latest version. Only one problem... When people buy an ( FB ) ad campaign or buy ... days in the spotlight their are no credits charged. The amount of current credits is still the same.

I checked the membership levels if their is nowhere spotlight or ads for free selected. Do you have an idea how to solve this or where the problem could be?

I installed the module completely again and did all the file changes.

BTW. When a member donate credits to another member the member get's charged. So that works fine.

@bellhophil - As explained by PM, the Facebook Ads module has Credit integration instructions that you need to follow.

Just a small issue in the readme.txt..... but I had to look twice when replacing code.

The closing hidden line should be

//[end] credits mod (modzzz.com)

Especially as STEP 4 and STEP 5 are either side side of

$aMemberships[] = array(

and could cause confusion when looking through the changes; as happened to me.

Also, there a few instances (as above) where you use backslashes in file path, after starting off with forward slashes. Maybe something to consider for consistency.

I'm hoping everything installed right, as there were a lot of changes depending on the Bonex media files already installed.

Alas, while trying to purchase credits during testing I get:

Method(actionPurchaseCredits) was not found in module(credit)

on m/credit/purchase_credits

Some additions.

When creating a package, I was intrigued that there was no entry for title.

Package was created but just shows up in admin dropdown as 12-$12

I can see an option to purchase credits in member.php.

On doing so, I am redirected to Shopping Cart where I see:

 _modzzz_credit_msg_cart_package (12) - 12 USD

I must be missing something.

- For that last issue you reported, double check the file changes you made. You can check the demo site to see what is like after the changes are made.

- Title has been added to Packages as suggested.

- Regarding purchasing error, that menu link should have been removed as it is no longer valid. Purchase is now done from the account page. Latest patch addresses that.

I reloaded back-ups of the Membership template files. Followed the readme changes again, and once more the same __credits__ orphans and button linking to the Page(__credits_pay_url__5) was not found in module(membership) error.

Alas, rolled those pages back again and everything seems to work - without any reference to credits at all on m/membership/index.

However, we do have an issue when trying to add an event.

You need at least 1 credits to post an Event.

I can't replicate this on the test site as Admin can post events without needing to pay.

Ok.... created an account - DolphinModUse - with non-admin rights, to get to the heart of this problem; having logged in as tester admin, to activate my account.

When Adding an Event, we get.

You need at least 2 credits to post an Event.

For correction of the payment URL, the following file is updated :

modules\modzzz\credit\classes\BxCreditDb.php

Here we go again......

This time it's to do with Credit to dollar ratio (for membership purchase).

eg. 'if 1.5 then 15 credits needed to purchase membership that costs $10'.

This works fine in m/membership/index

But not (shows back to front) in m/credit/membership

Test on demo site shows the same problem:

Here's something......

How do we allow certain members (say verified) to add a site while requiring Standard members to pay 2 credits?

It seems selecting 'Credits for posting a Site Listing' over-rides allowing 'actions' according to a certain Membership Level.

In which case, if someone purchases a Membership Level thinking they can perform certain actions (like post a site listing), we may need to issue a certain number of credits on purchase of a particular Membership Level.

The credit payment requirement will override membership settings. I will look into possibly adjusting this in a future version.

Fixed some quirks with the donation of Credits.

Credits Module - This is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

Is it possible to improve the history a little bit? Changes like:

- Transfer Credits to Nicky instead of Transfer Credits to a Member 

- One line per transaction / donation to make the overview better. Now he counts all the donations to members for example. It would be nice if you see a simple overview, like a bank overview.
- Instead of the credit activities, it would be better if you made a overview as main page. There you find the 10, 15 or so latest transactions, donations, actions etc. a little info about you're current credits and a button for example to add more funds to your account.

With these minor changes you have a much better module.
 

There's also an error if you haven't enough credits...

Test case: Lia (regular user, no admin account) has 900 credits. She spends 700 credits on the spotlight module. Then she buys an ad in the FB ads module for 400 credits. No error and the ad got bought. Normally when buying the ad she had most got a warning, than she hasn't have enough credits?

With all the patches paths and then the upgrade folder to look at when upgrading to Dolphin 7.2.0 (presumably on all your modules), along with some other developers dragging their heels on the upgrade status, or not bothering any more, I'm wondering whether it might be a better investment of time to just remove ALL modules; upgrade Dolphin and make new module installs?

Upgrading Dolphin is a Pain.

This is updated for Dolphin 7.3.

When people purchase Credits, is it possible for this to go through automatically? At the moment we still have to process manually.

OK, I'm all confused again.

The Credits Download now has Credits - Dolphin 7.2 and Credits - Dolphin 7.3

Do I have to do both or go straight to 7.3?

What changes were made from 7.2 to 7.3?

I see no patches folder and also wonder what the snapshots folder in 7.2 is all about?

I'm guessing it shouldn't be there.
