The "professional" way: Create your template within photoshop with layers respective to your desired css styles etc. I call this mission impossible for the D7 platform. The "common" way (my way): Install firebug & web developer for firefox, duplicate the existing D7 uni template into a new one and start going to town. Using the addons I listed, you can mouse over any section of the site and determine what modifications you need to make to change it.
It does help to have your vision plotted out on scratch paper or within photoshop before you start. Skype: shawn.nelson |
any more information on this method or similar methods would be very welcom here. I can do just about anything in photoshop, but dreamweaver os a no-go area for me. I'd love to be able to make my own templates. Nathan |
