Coupons Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 3

Fixes issue with single quote in categories.

Updates have been made to the integration with Business Listings.

Re-upload modules\modzzz\coupons\classes folder.

I downloaded the latest version last night and uploaded the classes folder.  However, when logged in as Admin>Coupons>Settings, the "Include section to add business details when adding coupon:" drop down is blank.  I have the Listings coupon integration box checked.  Unable to integrate Coupons into Listings (Businesses).  What am I missing?

Whoops, never mind.  Business integration is there.  I guess that blank drop down in Coupons mod admin settings doesn't apply.  What does that drop down do?

 That setting isn't used. It is flagged for removal in the next update.

Modzzz,

On a business listing page, the uploaded coupon image is not displayed. It displays the default generic coupon image instead. The uploaded coupon image is properly displayed on all other pages.

For the Business Listing mod, re-upload the modules\modzzz\listing\classes folder.

 Great.  Worked.  Thank you.  Had to re-save the coupon after uploading the folder, but then it worked.  Excellent.

Are you still in business? I have been trying to reach you. I bought the business listings module on modzzz.com but  it's not available for download in the store. Please let me know how to get the module. I already paid.

When I enter new categories and sub-categories, they show up correctly in alphabetical order in the admin list.  But on the site, when creating a new coupon or editing a coupon, both category drop down lists are not in alphabetical order.

The categories and subs are in alphabetical in your Listings mod, but not in the Coupons mod.  Can you make a quick fix by copying the Listings code?

The price of this module has been reduced.

An update has been made to facilitate better integration with the Business Listing module. The following file is updated :

modules\modzzz\coupons\classes\BxCouponsFormAdd.php

This module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

This module is also compatible with Dolphin 7.3

An issue with browsing local Coupons is resolved. The following file is updated :

modules/modzzz/coupons/classes/BxCouponsPageLocal.php

Question re barcode generator

I was reading the market description as though the module generate a unique barcode per coupon (When a Coupon is created, a corresponding bar code is automatically generated. )

However, I've just created 2 test coupons, but the barcode is the same on both so must be generic?

If so, this makes the feature useless as retailers need to be able to qualify the coupons some how?

(Im using this for both in store and online coupons so need to allow retailers a way to verify a coupon online)

Have tried multiple coupons with multiple users, just incase it was one barcode the same for all coupons created per user.

However, the barcode is the same on all coupons for all users (1 barcode for all).

As is, the barcode just takes up space and if its the same one on all, it has no use.

Issues with Barcode generation and also integration with Restaurants module has been resolved.

Re-upload module files, recompile language for the module and clear cache.
