 My site is now taking on members, but not many of them upload a photo to their avatar. I would like my members to upload a picture of themselves so that the community can see what eachother look like. Is there a way to make uploading of a profile image compulsory at joining? and more importantly, will it put people off joining? The sites seem very impersonal with all the same avatar images for every member. |

wouldn't it just be easy to mark the script for the profile picture upload as "required" field. is this possible in this php construction? simple solution like name is required, email is required etc... |
No need to force your members to upload a photo on join, If they find your site usefull dont worry they will upload one without you telling them. What's the point if they upload one on signup and never return to the site.? |
