Commission or percentage per sale in store

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to do Commissions or percentage per sale when a user by a product in the store from an other user ?

Is it paypal related ?

or is it possible to change the code ?

Is someone else want this feature ?

I too would like this feature. It would be good if admin could switch this on or off and determine percentage dependent on what is being sold.

Ditto here. Let me know if you find a solution - or maybe we can all pitch in and have it written.

i bet MrP or MartinBoi, could produce this one. however, then you would need to figure out how you are going to get paid. which payment gateways would need to be available?

now you are really talking about something that could get in depth and involved. speculating say 3000 members, each selling 15 items, would you have one flat rate of commission, or would this be something you would want to do a % based on the selling price?

interesting indeed, yes i think jerome, MrP or MartinBoi could provide us with this one. lets get a tally going on who would want this?

I need a commission based sales mod!

Ideally, I would like to use Modzzz Classifieds module for this. 

Allow admin to set a fixed % to take on all sales.

Anyone interested still in this or have an answer?

I posted in a similar topic last week.... the problem arises when you need to split a single payment between 2 paypal accounts - 1 for the vendor and 1 for the site admin.

The way  I have been advised in the past is to have the money paid into the vendors account and then invoice them for the percentage.....

But, apparently now paypal has a payment method that will allow this kind of splitting. Someone with good knowledge needs to look at this on I think....

I will definitely be looking into implementing this in a number of my mods as soon as the Dolphin 7.1 updates are out of the way. Paypal can now accommodate this (a business account is needed)

Great. I know Modzzz has a 'donations' module that already allows something like this, for admin to set a % of money to keep.

I really have need though for this for selling products, and specifically where users can upload products...

dont want to charge an up front fee as that just stops people uploading to sell.. however, a % on sale is a great solution!

Really looking forward to a mod that will give this function. 

Modzzz, any idea on time frame before you can look at it?
