Clean Install

I have exported my Profiles table. I am wondering if it would be simpler to just do a clean install of Dolphin and then import my users (Profiles) table into the new install? But where are all of the user images stored in 7.0.9 since this is the version my site was still using.

If you plan on keeping images you need more than just the profiles table. And it would be a real pain in the neck to do it that way. You need the profiles table, sys_profiles_fields, the avatar tables all the photo tables, ect.

Problem is, some of those tables may be different than the new version. Thats the reason they make upgrade scripts.

Images are in modules/boonex/photos/data/files.
Avatars are in modules/boonex/avatar/data/images

The problem is every time I try to upgrade the link to the database gets messed up. Each time it is a different  line of code referenced.

Instead of restoring after every error (23 attempts so far) while just trying to go from 7.0.9 to 7.1.0 and should I get lucky to then attempt to go from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1 I figured it would be simplier to just import content into 7.1.1

But it sounds like you are suggesting that might not work.

I get to the part in the upgrade instructions where I transfer up the files from the zip file. During the process the site crashes. When I go to the index.php I get a line of code stating that the MySQL database can not be reached/found/etc because of code on line ?? in inc/ **.php

Each time it is a different line of code in a diferent file but typically in the inc folder.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
