 Hi I am not wanting to make the "location" part of the classified ads. is there a way that i would be able to make the location part optional instead of required?
it would be better for me to just use a text box for users to type out their location manually. as this would be better for the type of site that I am building. is there a way to do that instead?

yes that worked for the removing the country fields. what i did was i had to edit the file "modules/boonex/ads/classes/BxAdsModule.php" and then i commented out the entire code for the country/city. and then go into the page of "Ads View" and then took out the "custom fields" block and the "location" block now my question is this... How do i make a custom text field that is required to be filled out in the ads section. |
