Chat names have disappeared!

Ok, this is a new one.. my chat room has some people with names showing, but about 1/4 of them do not have names! I can't seem to figure the glitch out.. haven't been able to find any posts about this happening! I had just upgraded last week to 7.1, and have this problem now! What's a girl to do?

Wow.. disappointed that no one has any suggestions for this problem! I've re-uploaded the chat files, flash files, checked permissions, and just can't get names to show! It's not just admins that are not showing, seems to be rather random. I haven't found any other topics relating to this in my searches.. help please!

Are you using the default chat with RMS or just default chat?

I'm using the default chat with RMS.. we do use video and audio some during chat as well

 Your RMS, is it yours? If so did you upgrade to the new one that was made to support 7.1?

The RMS for .9 and below has known issues and will not work correct with 7.1

I have both versions of RMS servers going, if you want to test your site using my 7.1 RMS .... PM your site link to me and I will add you to my server.

Be nice to have a follow up post if you have resolved your problem. 

Thanks for the suggestions! After trying another RMS with no luck, I tried using chat with no RMS, no luck. Thanks to newton27 for the information that I should have a .htaccess file in each of the three cache folders; that had some effect but still no name. I then reuploaded all the flash module files and I now have a name!! However, it is showing my status comment rather than sex/age. Will continue to tinker, but am pleased to have the names showing again. Many thanks for all the help!
