Chat Video

We installed Dolphin along with the Ray package...All looks great...However, we decided to give it a try due to the review of the a/v  chat program.  The chat does come up.   We are able to chat but without any video.  This is confusing as we testing the embed code on another site prior to making the decision to install on a new domain...Now, all we are getting it the ability to chat but not video...

Is the video working with chat?  Or is there something we are missing in order to get the chat video running...I did notice on the flash settings it points to our domain as place to allow access to mic//video...Is this what is causing the problem?  Should it point to boom rms or  another setting..

Any  topics one knows of we can read over getting the video to work with chat?

Install thr free RMS server on your domain, and point to there.

The Boonex rms is not working.

Whew...having a time with all this as compared to some of the free GPN stuff....but I sure like what I see, so trying my best...does anyone have  a link to the free RMS server?  and thanks killerhaai for pointing me to it and taking the time to answer...

Well...we are back and still trying to get all the dolphin/ray community tools running on our site...to say the least...it is not an easy task, but we are really wanting to give this a whirl...

Why?

Because of the video in chat room...and other tools, but the most important is the video chat...

We have now added the ray rms to our site but no luck at all...

Can anyone point us to a forum or something....even a  webhost that is reliable to get all this setup?  It is  a shame this is not an easier task, but many of us are "newbies" in this area...so can anyone assist?

i had the same issue with RMS server for Ray A/V. I did however get it working for 1.95 a month using cyberxing.com. i am looking for the How to that works for your VPS or Colo, as soon as i get it and make it work i have no problem writing up a detailed document so u to can do it, that seems to be lacking here. people know how to do it but wont show us how so i will do what i do and hammer it out over this month and then post it every where i can!
