Chat Moderator 7.1 B2

Hey guys,

I have installed 7.1 B2.. in previous version in chat room I had the option to make a user moderator or admin i guess.. Now I dont have that option. How can I do that now,,,, any idea?

That is done through your dolphin administration, in flash apps, using Chat Admin not from within the chat itself on the site.

ok but why does it suck? are there other problems too with chat that comes with 7.1 B2? what can I dot about it ?

Not a problem; glad you found it. I am learning my way around Dolphin, also. For a free chat application, Rayz works well and he is also quick to help with any concerns or trouble - which is an added plus from any developer in the community.

There are several other chat applications which can be integrated with Dolphin; some a lot nicer, but I guess it is a matter of cost (bandwidth, product, etc.) versus need.

The built in chat works.

 What might those be?

I prefer flashcomm's community chat, which they can integrate with the Dolphin system. Other than that, there is DigiChat, Chatspace and a few others.  DigiChat is excellent bang for the buck and can also be integrated with HTML user information passthrough.
