Chat Issue - Not able to chat with online user

When i am clicking to chat with online user its opening user's profile.

Its suppose to open chat box but its opening user's profile.

Kindly tell me the solution asap.

This is how it works. Not like facebook. If you want to chat you have to go to the profile to open up the chat tab.

 That is not how you "simple message."

On the profile page, in the actions block is the simple messaging "chat" area, the actions block also holds the "video chat" button.

Hoovering over the icon of the member will show popup that also has the chat option at the bottom.
