Changing the main link

I am getting ready to launch my dolpin site. Currently I have it set up as the default,  mydomain/dolph.

If it were easy to change the dolph to something else, I would like to do that.

Can I just change the name of the directory using ftp or would I have to somehow change all of the internal links. Or maybe there is a simple way with in the administraiton section.

Its not a big deal if not easily accomplished.

thanks

Yes, you can.

1) Rename the directory.

2) Edit inc/header.inc.php and edit the path that is in there. Just search for your old directory. You will find it.

3) Manually clear contents of the cache, cache_public and tmp folders excpt for any .htaccess files using ftp or cpanals file manager.

Done.

It is a fairly simple process.
