Yes. You can put a member into a spot that another member was deleted from as long as you do it before your start adding any photos or avatars or anything.

I don't understand why here?  If I add a photo, it is assigned the member's ID is it not?  So if I delete member with ID 1.  and then go into the database and insert a record with ID 1, what does photos have to do with that?  If a member is deleted, their photos and posts go with them; or at least the Boonex modules; third party modules will sometime leave orphan content.

Yea. When you delete a member everything is suppose to go with it.

Now. I said you can move a new member to the id of a member that was deleted as long as you do it before adding anything.

And it's for that reason. If you do it later then you have to renumber the photos, avatars, ect, ect ect. So it's best if your going to change the id of an account that you do it before anything is created. Thats what i meant and the part i guess you did not get.

Yea, i also do realize that some data may be left behind when an account is deleted which may result in that account getting some of the garbage left behind when the number is changed. So it's probably best if thats not done, but he is reusing his old id. So it should not matter here.

My apologies, I misread again.  Moving would be much more difficult that just adding a member in that spot.  Yes, you would have to update all the other tables storing information on that member.  Something that I would not want to undertake myself.

One slight difference I have noticed when deleting a member. If you have items that need to be approved - say a group for example. THen, if a user creates a group, and admin accepts it, it MAY or MAY NOT delete the group. I think it depends on whether the admin changes anything. Reason I bring this up. I created a module called Creative Resources in which a member can submit resource suggestions for things that help with their day to day activities or in the care of their clients. A member uploaded 20 resources, then I approved them. But I made a small change to each one of them. When the member's account was deleted, all of the resources that the member had input remained. Since everything else about that member was removed, it did not display who the person was that added the resource.

In my attached screenshots, I changed the "From" term to "Contributed By" but you can see how items that were created by a member who has since been deleted can still remain.

it was simple,, just created a new account, used deanos tools made it  admin, then logged in and deleted the one that had pics before i knew,, then just went to phpmyadmin and  changed it to number 1,, and it even brought back some one my original settings like friends and emails and stuff!!.. oh yeah and i set the name back too after the account was done,, only thing that didnt work out perfect was the url, cause i had to set the name to jebus1 till i deleted the jebus profile then changed the name without the 1..  but that still left the url with the 1 but i guess i can live with that,, no way to change the url is there?

Might be a caching issue – try empty cache.
