 New: Changing admin password via the interface only allows you to input an 8 character password. Anything longer gives a "wrong new password". When I created my install I had a nice 11 character password and needed to change it. Now I'm stuck with a weak 8 character password. This needs to be expanded so we can have strong passwords on our admin areas. |
had same issue. figured out could not use same letters a original password. has to be something totally different. |

Admin password is limited to only 8 characters. You cannot make a password longer than 8 characters (tested on 2 different setups) and this needs to be changed so it is much longer. Please make a ticket of this and feel free to try it on your installation. |
