Changing Ray Chat Colors Possible?

Is there any way to do this? I just want the background in white....

There are links somewhere to the flash source files. I can't seem to find them right now. But you would need the flash (fla) source files and a proper version of Adobe/Macromedia flash to edit them. All the ray multimedia stuff is written with flash, so editing them is not like working with php. You need proper software to do it. Unless something has changed in dolphin 7.1. I could have sworn the background was already white.

Talk about striking a nerve.  I think Dolphins flash source files were created with Flash 8, or some other obsolete version.  I tried importing them into CS5 and weird things happened.... like missing characters in text strings after compiling.  Apparently, that was a common problem when bringing old flash source into modern versions of Adobe flash.  I finally gave up.

I've been bitching about skinnable flash apps for three years.  I've also been bitching about some other very basic features missing from the chat app.  After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that Rayz is just plain lazy, and that no one at Boonex gives a shit about any of the flash apps.  Rayz does appear to have time to come up with paid chat mods that provide functionality that every other chat app on earth has as a standard feature.

Anyone can render the chat useless just by holding down the return key.  What a useless POS.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Well I assume that most profit comes through the Boonex Market anyways...am I right? So leaving a few things non functional or buggy will induct the purchase of those other rayz chat mods etc.

Did editing and exporting the files work with Flash 8? I remember someone offered a black skinned version
