Change Welcome text in Ray Chat

Hello, all!

Cant't seem to find the answer for this question. How do I change the Welcome text message when you enter the Ray Chat room. I also want to add a link for Chat Rules as well.

Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

You need to do a search on here for the Ray Source files, they are here, then you'll be able to edit items and such.

I found the the search source files for Ray, but no one answered any of the questions. Is there another place I can find the source files for Ray Chat, mydatery or anyone else who might know? Thanks!

You would do a search in forums and use source files as the serach words, I believe that's what mydatery was referring to.

Check out that link, it may have what your looking for, not the place I had seen before but it may be.

mydatery. That location is correct. It's where i get the skin sources at least. The module sources are there also, but i have not actually played with those.

I found the answer that works for me. I just wanted to change the wording in the Welcome to chat text. Via the admin panle to Ray Chat then to the Ray Chat page, there's a key icon on the right-side of the page, click on that & you get a pop-up for the Welcome text, change it as you see fit save and refresh the page. You'll see the changes you made. I just wanted to add some Chat Rules to the Ray Chat page. Worked for me!
