Change Powered By Dolphin Footer Fonts

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to change the Powered by Dolphin footer fonts?

not possible :(

buy the paid ver :)

why bother bother paying when even when its paid for you cannot edit the bottom banner that gives so many people the sh*ts and keeps reapearing even after a paid liscence is installed
personally i would have paid the money for the liscence

i just dont like how i was led to beleive it was FREE up until the point of the entering the admin panel after installation

i like dolphin but i HATE being lied to by bullsh*t lazy programmers

the scripts are a f**king mess and its full of buggs without any real fixes other then the great work of individuals also suffering at the hands of boonex's iresponsible means of support

hell following some pointers here in these forums cxan lead to massive losses if ypour not backing up regularly

personally if im going to pay such bullsh*t prices for such sloppily made crap id atleast expect a real support system with atleast a god damn production written tuitorial

laziness and greed is all boonex stands for

but lets address each issue as it is presented here:

if you have a paid license, and you have applied that paid license, and removed the free license number from being associated with your domain, in your unity profile area under licenses, there here is something to check

though this has been written about many times, i will do it again.

Switching between Free Dolphin License and Paid Dolphin License

1. remove the free license number from your unity profile associated with the domain where you wish to apply a paid license.

2. login to your dolphin admin panel --> settings --> advanced settings --> variables

3. scroll down, and save

4. logout out of admin

5. login to cpanel or FTP, and clear the cache directory, and cache_public directory

on the cache directory you want to select all then deselect .htaccess if its visible. on cache_public just toss everything

6. go to your unity profile after the cache has been emptied, and copy your paid license number

7. on your browser(s), close them all, after you have cleared the cache and dumped the cookies

8. open a clean browser, --> http://yourdolphinsite.com/administration

9. the process of logging in, will in turn prompt for a license number

10. at this time, paste from clipboard or notepad, the paid license number you copied from your unity profile under license. providing the license in this manner should take care of you. if you need additional help on this, please let us know.

the reason i state to close all browsers, is that i have seen this issue you are having when a user has multiple browsers open, and multiple tabs open. essentially creating multiple sessions, and cookies.

so clear the cache on dolphin clear the cache on your browsers

remove free license apply new license

come back and tell them how great dolphin really is.

You searched the forums on how to remove the footers without paying, then when you couldn't find out how you released your anger on a two year old thread.. nice...

I should mention one of the requirements of being a moderator is realizing some people are more suitable in a research lab than the forums.

 brother M, you are correct in questioning, why such an old post was revived. at the same time, depending on given keywords, you can come up with some really weird stuff. i seen the other day where AlexT i think it was, stated that the post returns on a query are sorted newest to oldest, and i am not seeing that when i search this forum. 

i used to be a true believer in pushing "search the forum" well guys, search the forum does not work. i will make some time, to show the case in point.

as seems to be your style yet another informative and well written explaination

at present i have not yet  paid for a  liscence due in part to the fact i do feel lied to and in part 

that the only support this service offers is through the great works by those such as yourself

but as this "gentleman" mscott shows in his comment

to find what you are seeking you must troll through pages of crap written by no hoping pricks who

most likly still live at home in mummys basement and take their self loathing out on others

its not exactly how i see a support system running

and support is one of the most important aspects of any paid for item

you would not expect to call a phone company about a bodgy line and have them tell you to

talk to others suffering the same problem

you are welcome, but if you look around enough, you will find members on here who take offense to the structure of my responses. so not one of us can provide the perfect answer all the time to every member who has a query.

just a note to you, mscott is a coveted member, as he is the Liason for Arvixe Hosting, and i dont think he actually fucked that donkey, because he couldnt catch it, and was the donkey retarded or was mscott?

another thing kind sir DuCarlion,

you mention of these outstanding issues sir, though you have 6 total posts, are you posting your bugs, or are you reading the forum and taking every issue as being a bug? the bugs are recorded in trac, about 80% of the issues you are reading these days are end-user errors

dolphin is not perfect, nor is there anything else available. 

so i either misread what you were trying to do, or you were trying to remove the foot ads and not in possession of a paid license? 

when a paid license is pro the callback() function reads that license number, if that license number is in the pool of free license numbers, then the foot adverts are fed, if the license number is in the pool of paid license the footer adverts are not pushed up on the site.

our dear friend and fellow unity member, we are not providing answers to upset you, your own writings are lacking in grammatical structure conducive to sanity. so we are proving the best answer we can based on what you have written or inferred. cant read what you are writing with inference. in order to post such a statement, you would need first hand experience, i see now from your lastest rant, that you do not have first hand experience with the dolphin liccense not working. 

can you do something for me with all your great wisdom research, please compile me a list of how many people have had an issue with their license.

i will make you a bet, if you will contact each one, of the so many you say are on here with this problem, if you will make an effort to get in touch with 10 who have had this issue, and you can come back with greater than 30% who actually had a problem that was due to boonex and dolphin? and when you realize that what you are reading is the inexperienced, the novice, who has become frustrated, because they want it all now, and dont want to be bothered with reading. 

This is not geocities, and when you get people in here asking how they are supposed to upload the files to the server, it does make your head addled. there are all walks of life in here, those of us in here are answering the questions for free, because we enjoy dolphin and this community. please respect what is free, and understand nobody here, owes you anything.

compile the list of those who have had or who have problems with adverts reappearing, and if you can produce the ratio mentioned, I will provide you with an Ad-Free License, free
