Cant create new membership from admin

Hi, I have discovered that I cant add a new membership level from the admin area. If I add one via the database then it isnt editable from within the admin panel. I can add prices and enable actions but cant edit the actual membership (image, description title etc).

Could someone point me in the right direction please. Thanks.

A free module has been recycled and made available by GeekGirl. It enables Admin to create new memberships with basic profile details. A more advanced mod is available from Modzzz and others for a small fee. I modified GeekGirl's freebee and it works fine.

Once a new membership has been created via this mod, you must then access it using the password you gave. There's no option. Once again, Modzzz and others have a "Logon as Member" module for a fee. I use this and it's great.

Both items should be built in to Dolphin, but they're not. Dolphin heavily favours the user (member) and offers very few desirable features such as these for Admins.

Thanks for the info. Il look into it. However, the basic functioning is all I need. I have two sties, one I can create memberships, edit memberships etc but with this main site it has stopped functioning as it should.

It wont let me upgrade a member either so theres an issue with the basic functioning I would like to solve before I add any modules etc. But I will look into it, thanks johnk

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you can create memberships on one site but not the other. As far as I'm aware, Dolphin doesn't allow admin to create memberships. To do so, you need to sign out and join as a new member. Dolphin will NOT allow you to use the same email address twice, so you will need a different email for each membership you create.

Maybe you know something that I don't, however it sounds like the main site is functioning correctly.
