Cannot install 7.1

Hi guys i cannot install 7.1 as i am getting stuck at the permissions page.

I have CHMOD all the files needed to 777 yet the page is still telling me i need to make those folders writable. I have checked via ftp that these are correct.

Has anyone run into this problem. Am running on apache box

I have never seen this problem.

Verify the permissions either via a SSH shell or from cPanel

Try to use

chmod -v a+w

command (for folder and files) rather than 777

Have tried everything, community.repairsuk.co.uk/install/index.php

as you can see it's not playing ball
