Cannot delete groups folder

Attempting to take down an old Dolphin site and replace it with new.  Have deleted all of the old files for a complete re-install, but the /groups folder will not delete and is causing error messages to come to my email by the truckload.

How can I get rid of this folder and begin to start over?  Where is the tirck/key to getting this folder off of my server?

You should just be able to go into your cpanel, go to File Manager and delete it. Useless you have some screwy permissions/user/group set up.

Try setting CHMOD permissions 755 for Groups folder and all Sub Folders
