Cannot Sync Permanent License

We had the free license applied , we purchased the Permanent License 

Then we removed the free license from our account on boonex / now only the Permanent License is present. 

Our build still acts as if it is registered with the free license / so we are never presented the opportunity to apply the new Permanent License. 

We have checked / Settings and Advance and it does not show that it is unregistered. 

Any help / comments would be great 

We have an open ticket but it has been 3 days now so I thought I would post here.

PS. We removed the free license and purchased the permanent license about 10 days ago.

this is one topic that has been written about extensively. the issue in most cases is an easy fix. 

 

i will create a video on this, because there seems to be at times, where users are unable to get the dolphin platform to switch from free-license to paid license, or even from time to time, when a user decides to change the domain name of their site, and this same situation arises.

Here's the steps:

  1. remove the current license from Administration -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Variables;
  2. clear the site's cache and logout of the administration panel; and
  3. login to the administration panel and enter the new license when asked.

You can't enter the new license from Advanced Settings, as that method doesn't work.

 

If those steps fail, make sure allow_url_fopen is enabled.  You may also have to manually clear the site's cache by emptying the /cache/ (except for the .htaccess file) and /cache_public/ directories.

I was not aware of the Settings / Advanced and Variables - where the license lives. 

I removed that / and logged out and then logged back in and it asked for the new registration code. 

So both tips from you guys were VERY helpful !
