Can't uninstall Spy module

Hey guys.  Im trying to upgrade from 7.0.9 to 7.1 right now.  i followed the instruction.  It says I have to uninstall spy module.  No problem.  I went ahead and I see this weird error.  it says.....

 I tried that in phpmyadmin sql.  it comes back and says....

"Table 'main99.sys_objects_charts' doesn't exist"

main99 is my subfolder. I can't install 7.0.9-7.1.b1 because it's grayed out and I have to uninstall spy first.  What should I do now?  I'm pretty much stuck right there.  Of course everything is backed up.  :)

ah looks like i can't uninstall any of modules.  lol  what the hell did i do? 

who knows; time to restore the backups and then proceed anew.

Sounds like you are trying to uninstall the 7.0.9 spy module with the uninstall sql from the 7.1 spy module., and the uninstall sql is very different. How did the uninstall sql from the 7.1 spy module replace your uninstall sql from the 7.0.9 spy module?  It wasn't by the upgrade patch. 

Does your site  still run?

The modules should have been uninstalled before you uploaded the patch.

OK, restore and you want to upgrade from 7.0.9 to 7.1 Final.  Grab the proper install guide for this upgrade; I believe it is the last one in the list.

@houstonlively   Yes you are 100% right!  lol I uninstalled spy but it came up with an error saying i needed to uninstall spy_wall and wall.  did that but i totally forgot to uninstall spy module afterwards.  I went ahead and uploaded 7.1 files.  so yes i tried to uninstall spy AFTER I uploaded the files.  stupid me!

yep i uninstalled spy perfectly fine this time.  Now i have another issue.  After I installed 7.1, i can't even install spy or timeline or any module. It refreshes the page and doesn't show anything.   I can only uninstall them.  am i missing something?
