D7, I have members who are set at promotional and I can't manually make them gold or standard... what gives?
It was on members I imported, so I gave them first and last names which is required, now I can update membership level.

Same problem here. |
Hello everybody! Just checked it in current version - works fine. Possible trouble in filling of other fields - note that admin should fill all required fields too. Regard |

I just tested this on a version of D7 which was downloaded from Boonex about 2 weeks ago and I am also NOT ABLE to amend the membership levels of a user profile via the admin panel. |
Interesting . . . I normally use Google Chrome and have been having the problems while using that browser. I just closed that browser and opened up Firefox and lo and behold I could manually upgrade memberships! But . . . under the Firefox, everything runs at a very very very slooooooow pace while under Chrome it is nice and fast. Even typing into this message box took forever in Firefox (so I closed it and went back to Chrome to post this). Is it MY Chrome or perhaps there are browser incompatibilities? I love my Chrome and don't want to have to use something else to access Dolphin nor do I want to tell end users they can't use their favorite browser. Thoughts on what is causing the behavior? Obviously, I am not the only one having issues . . . - Brian |
My mistake. The membership does change however the browser does not refresh with the new status upon saving. Even going back to the member list does not show it up immediately and I had to do a CTRL + F5 to refresh. |
My browser - Google Chrome - does not make the change, even upon refresh it's still the old level. However, in Firefox there was no problem. - Brian |
Google Chrome was 3.0.195.38 . . . I just saw an "update version" on my about so tried that as well. The new version of Google Chrome is 4.0.249.78 (36714) and same problems. Could not manually update membership level and reply button did not work for email. |
in my experience with google chrome does not work always in editing the profile fields and menu builder in D7 administration panel, its weired I cant even duplicate what happen, its just random error each time, cant save htmlblock sometimes, menu re-arranging on its own etc., so I suggest used FireFox for administration side. |
Hello, it will works if you check "Starts immediately:" |
