Can't guests publish ads?

Allowed in memberships, non-members, ads add. Ads homepage is accessible to guests either. Cache cleared. Yet, no add button is available for visitors - why?

For those wondering something like this http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/publish-ADS-without-registration-bug-or-not-.htm (by the way the only forum I've found on the topic), the easy answer is the implementation of Deano's "insert new block" tip and in this perhaps the simple human check (3+3=?) question.

Still, not being able to allow guests placing ads is quite insane. If it's allowed in membership actions, why is it still not working?

Are those who are logged in able to post ads? I believe that it is better that Guests not be able to add an Ad. Considering Guests are those who are not logged in, you do not want just any joe blow leaving ads

Members are able to post adds, no problems there - but what is limiting me is the inability to allow guests to post adds, too. To sum it up again, I have allowed it in the memberships (Non-Members), to add ads, but there is still no button to post ads available for guests.

As for wanting anyone to post ad, that's what I want. As I have mentioned in my first post in this topic, there's a way how to insert new blocks on the Ads homepage, so there could be a way how to stop spamming ads. And for the bad words, I clearly remember there is a module for this in the market covering ALSO Ads module.

Therefore, I don't really see the reason why not to allow guests from posting classifieds too - unless it's what Boonex decided not to allow? I allow guests to post in the Shoutbox, so why not to use Ads as well? There's no logic in it, is it.

By the way, if guests are allowed to post ads, how does it relate to the number of allowed actions per time limit? Let's say, the setting is 60 per hour, so if (various )guests post 60 ads inside 60 minutes, the 61st ad won't be allowed to be posted until the time restriction is reset?

I think guests should be allowed to post ads or have it where you can post without your username being showed

If you allow nonmembers to post ads make sure you have a heavy duty spam question in place or you're going to be fooling with that all day.

It probably never occurred to Boonex that someone would want to do such a senseless thing
