Can't get new mods "packages" to upload for install.

I just purchased a new mod. I downloaded it to my desktop. Per the instructions within the mod, it tells me:

In admin, go to Tools->Modules.

Look in the list of "Not Installed Modules" for "Questions"

Select it and click "Install"

The problem is that the new mod is not showing up in my "Not Installed Modules" list. I am trying to upload it via "Package to upload" and it won't allow me to select the entire mod folder. Keeps going to the individual files within the folder of the mod.

Please Help.

Thanks,

Ken

I think you need to select the zip file when it asks you to select a file to upload.

If that doesn't work you can always unzip the folder and upload it to the modules directory via FTP, then it will show in your un-installed modules list.

The uploader built into dolphin does not work properly.

Use a FTP client. The modules instructions should also tell you where it is to be uploaded. If it does not then contact the developer. If uploaded to the wrong location the module will not show up in the uninstalled modules list.

Don't know. I could never get it to work. The zip files have to be properly packaged for it to work. But even following boonex instructions on how to package a module, i still could never get it to work.

 Because!It gives Dolphin downloaders the impression it has more features than it really does! Once you get it working, I highly recommend the Open Social mod. You'll be wowed by it's capabilities!

All my mods work using the FTP upload option in Dolphin. However, for this to work apache needs to be able to write to the folders. So check your settings
