Can't get modules to work in D7 RC

Hi all.

I've installed the Dolphin 7 RC after playing around with the demo and, after having a couple of small problems, I'm now stuck on finding a solution as to why none of my modules are working!

I've uploaded an image in my test profile and when I go to the profile admin there's an error everytime I try to add an avatar.

Instead of having a link to 'Avatar' as per the demo site, there's a link that says bx_ava_avatar and when clicked it takes me to the root directory of my site.

What have I done wrong????

First, make sure the avatar module is loaded. Once it is installed:

In order to change or set your avatar, Put your mouse over the Dashboard icon on the main homepage. Click Avatar, click browse and upload the photo of your choice. If the photo you want has already been uploaded, just navigate to the photo you want for your Avatar and under the "Actions" menu, click 'Set as Avatar'.

Once you have set the Avatar, the bx_ava_avatar will go away and become just Avatar.

Hope this helps.

How do I load the modules? Sorry for my ignorance!

Ok - I figured out how to install the modules but now when I try to configure them, I'm taken to the parent directory of whichever module I'm trying to configure...?

Also, I've uploaded a photo to my test profile but it isn't showing and I can't edit it when logged in as a user.

Help!

Hi,

I have this problem too, after installing modules, i try to configure them and I'm taken to the parent directory.

Do you have fond a solution for this problem?

To load modules, you need to login to your admin panel:

Click Tools > Modules and place check marks in the ones listed under "Not Installed Modules" and then click the install.

Please note that some modules require other to be installed before they can. So if you see Failed out beside one, click the + bar next to it and find out what other modules needs to be installed first. Sometime if you choose alot of modules to install at one time, it will not detect that the "needed" module was installed. Simply go back under Not Installed Modules and try to install it again.

Edit: Also, not sure "what" you are trying to configure for the module.
