Everything seems to work except the link to the forums any suggestions on how I might get that to work for me?

does your host need RewriteBase / in .htaccess?

then open the file modules/boonex/forum/.htaccess

and add after

RewriteEngine On

this

RewriteBase /forum/

didn't work got a different message though
