Can't Upload Video

I Can't seem to upload any video's.  However I CAN record a video and it shows up in the pending section in admin but it never gets processed. (cron problem for another post).

I CAN upload photo's.

I've tried the Flash uploader as well as all other options and when I click to upload my cursor spins like something is going on but it never transfers the file.

Any help would be a God-Send

Thanks,
Mel

Check if you are getting any error messages in your email (should have email setup in basic settings for error reports)

what version of dolphin are you running?

Shared/VPS/Dedicated server?

Hello

You should check if the video size is not larger than the upload_max_filesize value on your server. If the video is larger the upload will fail. You may check the value for the upload_max_filesize by creating a php file containing this code:

<? echo phpinfo(); ?>

Then access the file via browser and find the upload_max_filesize.

Also you may check the file/folder permissions for your website.

Thanks for the replies!

1. I am getting no error messages.

2. I am running v7.09

3. VPS

4. I previously set PHP.INI max upload to 500M and the files I'm trying to upload are much smaller than that.

5. I have checked file permissions through Host Tools and everything appears to be correct.

After some experimentation this weekend I think I'm going to conclude that it's something about the video my camera takes.  I tried uploading other video's that I have received via email from others and they upload fine. Also, I think I mentioned that I can use the record function in Dolphin and it works fine also.  I have contacted DXG (manufacturer of my camera) and asked them for help.  After looking at their FAQ I don't expect help any time soon.

I've tried converting the AVI files that my camera outputs to many different types to see if it makes a difference but to no avail. (MOV, MP4, FLV, WMV,etc.)

Thanks for the help!

I'm still searching for an answer here.  It's got to be something stupidly simple.  Here's the phpinfo if anyone cares to take a look.....

Me too! Upgrade to newest "FFmpeg 0.11.2" will get these errors:

Please use -b:a or -b:v, -b is ambiguous

Unrecognized option 'deblockalpha'

Failed to set value '0' for option 'deblockalpha'

How to solve this problem? I I have tried to remove  'deblockalpha' and  'deblockbeta' ...
