Can not translate Orca in Italian language

Hello,

I am tried many time to translate orca in italian language, but I don't know what to do, yet.

To translate Orca Forum, I have done in this way:

- making copy of en.php (in (/orca/);

- translated en.php in italian language;

- I logged in as admin user and I went to plugins -> orca forum. Here:

1) firstly, I tried to compile for first "it" language, but a blank page was generated and www.mysite.come/orca is unaccessible;

2) I tried to compile for first "en" language and all work perfectly (in english). After, I tried to compile also "it" language and it was generated a white page again.

Please, can you help me?

I wish to publish my community before of summer.

what we do for are orca in hebrew that we just remove the en.php and live only the he.php translate file. then we go to admin and we do compile on the he.php file.

and it work for as.

I tried also to punt only "it.php" file and to compili it, but the result was a white page. In conclusion, it doesn't works.

so probably you erase something in the code of the file when you are try to translate  it.

these  files very sensitive  for any litel change ...

try to translate  again but from new file... you can get one by downloading from the zip here in the site of dolphin.

i can send you my file in hebrew and you will see that probably rong in the code you translate if you want 2.

I think the problem is not due to translating code, because I translated file from "en" to "it" in very accurate way.

If somebody has some idea, please post here.

I have no clou why this is not working, have you tryed to contact Boonex team for this directly. If there is no reaction then no one of the users does know why or how.

I think this is about char encoding and XML. You can't use any "&" or any character not in the ASCII table (like "á" or "ç"). I think this is ridiculous, but is the only explanation I found. Did you resolve the clue?
