Calling All Boonex Staff

You need to get some basic rules in the market places as member will continue to abuse the system some moderators to check for junk post

Thought a market place is for exchange and selling modules not creating post and asking for work or help with modification i spend lot of my time now reading thru junk while looking for mods if this is not dealt with soon you will have massive problem of cleaning the market place up and programmers sell apps will be competing with loads of junk amongst genuine good modules

AS THIS POST SHOWS THIS SHOULD BE POSTED IN THE FORUM NOT ON THE MARKET

May i Suggest You BUILD NEW FORUM TOPIC For people to Post For Request models work and other modifications and keep the market strictly for selling modules nothing else

SOME BASIC RULE TO POSTING / SELLING IN THE MARKET

FEW MODRATORS CHECK NEW POST AND FEW START CLEANING

( Sure You Could Find Few Trusted Members To Help )

MAKE IT CLEAR THAT REQUESTING JOBS AND MODS IS DONE IN THE FORUM ONLY

Hope Other Agree just seam to spend Hours looking and finding lots of rubbish

The fact that one member made the mistake of placing a question in the wrong area of the web site does not mean there is a lack of rules. Such a question should have been asked in the Dolphin 7.0.0/Market forums, instead, but was not. It is obvious that the Market is for the purchase of modifications and the posting of contractual jobs, but there will be those who will make the mistake.

I view the Market every day, as I have done so since joining this web site over two years ago. I fail to see the "thirty or more" "junk posts," though. In fact, that's the only "junk post" (and it isn't even that, it's just a misplaced question) I have seen during the month. Everything else has been either a new modification, a promotion or sale, or a contractual job offering. I believe you are looking to deep into and equally overreacting over this one posting.

I wouldn't call those "junk posts."

but donut you agree that it should be for mods only and a contractual job offering are posted in forums and bits it would make finding mods easy and not looking at loads of stuff that not even relevant to some members if this was put on its own page then it would also make finding contractual job offering easier as member know were they are

make the market far more easier to find what you looking for also keeps the market clean tidy and usable not a endless list of rubbish

think if eBay ran its business like this it would be bankrupt because no body can find anything just think its time the boonex site was given a little thought in to day to day running of bits it would bring it up to speed with what members are asking for and not struggling to find the right place to post make thing easier for everyone

As with a real market, the Market at Unity allows for both the sale and request (and the subsequent purchase) of items. BoonEx, however, does recognize the cluttered layout and will be working on more properly organizing it in the future, taking extra notice to jobs. In the end, this is also better than using the forum, as topics constantly get buried within minutes, which the market is slower paced, and you can navigate and search far easier for modification or possible development work.

I of course disagreed with the use of the market for job posts. I was one of the ones trying to push for a separate jobs section like what was once on expertzzz. But this is how boonex choose to do it. I also do not like it. But that's the way it is.

I also STRONGLY believe that those who post a product to the market should NOT use the jobs tag in their post.
