Cache cannot clear

Hi,

My site is showing "  warning! page view cache cannot be evaluated. please recompile "  Pls pls pls help urgently.  Also i tried to clear the cache from the admin panel,  but in vain.  Pls help.

try to delete the cache manually

logon to your cpanel , and clean public_folder/cache .. do NOT delete .htaccess

and clean, public_cache

see if this works for you

I am not able to clear the cache from there.  there is no option displayed "clear cache"  what to do.  I saw the folder cache_public and when i clicked that it is showing all the .rar files.  Bit confused....  pls help

You can savely clean both folders WITH EXCEPTION of .htaccess

So all the files in folders;

cache

Public_cache

BUT DO NOT delete .htacess

just select the file, and hit the delete button somewhere in your cpanel

And then I would advise you to get Deanos' Tools, a free mod that allows, amongst other things, to delete cache...
