Cache Issue

I can't seem to log out of Firefox. When I try to log out, it goes right back to the home page and I'm still logged in. I have to clear my cache before I can log out.

IE works with no problems.

Chrome seems to have a cache issue too. When my wife logs in and goes to some other pages it will revert back to me being logged in on those pages. Only after the cache is cleared will she be able to go to those pages logged in as her.

Does this sound familiar at all? Anyone else have or had these issues? Is there anything that can be done?

did you add anything for caching to your htaccess. file this can happen if you cache php files.

No I didn't. Sounds like I'm alone on this. Kinda hoping this was a common fix. It's fine as long as the cache is cleared every time manually.

Is there a way to make the cache clear automatically?

well yes and no at the same time. you could create a file and call it via cron job do delete the folders content, but that's not the best option here.
you could disable caching  try by disabling cache for DB and profiles might help.

hey prolaznik, If "Enable caching system to store profiles information" is what you mean then I disabled both that an DB caching and nothing happens.

Now other members have stated that they can't login as well.

I am amazed that I'm the only one with this issue though. It's almost like I'm missing something. I'm using 7.0.8

To clarify: Clearing the cache in Admin does nothing. Only after the 'Chrome/Firefox' cache is cleared will members be able to stay logged in.

When using Google Chrome and logging out, the page goes to homepage but logged in version. A simple page reload however jumps to offline homepage. Firefox and IE are ok. Any ideas?
