CSS question: input field background color

Hello,

I took a break from dev to work on the look and feel.  Something that really bothers me with my current template is that the input fields are all black.  It matches the overall site design, but I want to change the color of all input boxes / fields.  (meaning the background color of these fields) Anyone know the css class or style I can change to do this?

Nope.

If they are black then it's obviously a custom template that we will not be familiar with.

So i recommend firefox with a plugin called firebug which will help you find the css selector names and what file it is in. Caching must be off in dolphin to use the tool.

Cache must be off in Dolphin?  ROFLOL.... that may be part of why I have not found what I am looking for.  Turning it off now and trying again.  :-)

Well the reason is caching stuffs all the css files into one cache file making finding the proper location impossible because firebug is seeing the cached copy and not the real css files.

For this purpose, turn off css caching so you can see the particular stylesheet name.  You can leave other caching on.

@Dean; sometimes we have to be very explicit LOL.

Geeks, making the world a better place

Funny thing about that...  I had turned off _all_ caching.  :-)
