Bug -Profile avatar functionality

The profile avatar upload functionality behaves differently when email confirmation is turned ON or OFF.

When email confirmation is turned OFF (i.e. no confirmation is needed) , the profile avatar uploaded while registering in the join page is displayed in the profile photos section. This is what I need.

But when email confirmation is turned ON, The profile photo uploaded in the join page before the member confirms the email is NOT displayed on the profile under “Profile Photos”.

How can I this be fixed so that the avatar shows up in the profile photos even when the confirmation is turned on?

Hello

I checked the issue on my demo Dolphin 7.0.9 and got the same results. So, I created a ticket for BoonEx programmers. You may track it here http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/2769

How do Boonex fixes work? Will the support team work on these right away?

Is there a way I can get quick help.

Can anyone please advise?

If this was a bug, it must have reached the size of a dinosaur bug as it's been around for years.......been looking around for a solution and that's where i could see that it's not a new technical issue.....i am not a "technician" by any means, but i am sure that it must not be a so difficult task for a developer to find a way to make the avatar function to work, leave alone been able to display an uploaded picture....

I decided to try this software as it was looking promising, but after so much struggling for getting a really basic function to work, i am seriously thinking to just erase it for the second time, this time forever....god griefs

every cms has some bugs in it. You are just looking at the bad side of the story, you should think this bug is reported and will be corrected in next update. So, its all about your thinking. If you will start thinking it will not work then you will get frustrated with it so no chance for you to see what dolphin can do.

The new descent of Jesus Christ on earth have statistically more chances to happen on a short term basis, in the mean time you can choose to pray to a god of your choice, if you get lucky let us to know, i am ready to sell my soul to a gecko shaped, code spitting lama goddess...

every cms has some bugs in it.

perhaps starting up a side business sending up all these bugs in asia might increase revenues, apparently they are rich in proteins.

And by the way i am not simply frustrated, this thing here is keeping me hours on front of my computers and i keep munching around, dolphin is making me fat

For your information you are sending all bugs to Australia not asia.

You have to work hard on your site like everyone does. Once you know dolphin better it will be lot easier for you.

Eat less...Tongue Out

NOTE : I am not a dolphin agent or something who wants to bring clients.lol

Choice is always yours what you want to do.

this bug is not detected for so many years and suddenly everybody is having problem with it. Now i am starting to think maybe this bug came in this 7.0.9 update.. Who knows...Undecided

I think you have to wait for a fix or it will be released in 7.0.10 because the reported bug has nothing new in it so maybe they will release a fix in 7.0.10

Ok it was my fault and not a bug, during installation Dolphin was unable to locate a php.ini file, when i went back there and located the correct path, all of a sudden many more modules appeared on my interface as well (before i could only see a Flash Player module or something named similarly), from the new modules i was able to select the avatar module and then the picture thing started working as it should.

then how can AntonLV reproduce the issue?
