It stops people from hacking your site.. When someone tries logging in a bunch of time (You set the limit in admin panel) will block that account for how ever much time you want and set in the admin panel. So if someone is trying different passwords for an account they don't have it will block that account for a set of time.. If it is a real person that forgot their password it will work with his forgot password module to unlock that account.. |
