Brainstorm - splitting adsense profits

Im thinking of a site specifically made for high volume traffic and page sharing - where members can create something like an article, or any boonex 'view page', which will have google ads on it.

Idea is to monetize the site with google ads but offer some sort of 'split' on profits with the highest earning page owners. Encourage page admins to share their pages, and create 'shareable' content.

Other than manually processing this, anyone think of a way to automate it?

Also, would need a way to show in users account page, some sort of monitoring of their page views, or google value etc...

Sound like a crazy idea?

I'm going to have to say yes, it is a crazy idea. The only reason I say this is because of the way Google does business. You could put a lot of time, energy and money making this site and Google could make the whole thing useless by banning you for some silly reason. When they ban you they may or may not give you a reason. I guess I'm saying they are too fickle to base a site on (in my opinion).

I agree with the adsense view, Google bans without rhythm or reason.  Use adsense only as a sideline means of revenue and be prepared for Google to steal your adsense funds if they decide to ban you; it has been reported they usually wait until just before a payout and then take your money and claim, and I do mean claim as we have no way of checking, give the money back to the advertisers.

Geeks, making the world a better place

Am already doing it but am not gona tell you the trick how i am doing it :p By my way i don't have to monitor the users. ok ill give you a hint. i give incentive and pay users, simple. So far my account is not banned. I think those account are banned who use illegal way of getting traffic. those popup page views. So if a user used to get only 1000 daily view and suddely it get a 100000 hit, google get suspicious and ban the user. I think they should investigate first before banning.

I wasn't doing anything illegal or against their TOS when they banned me. You won't get banned unless someone reports you or they review your site.

maybe I should have said - add revenue services - instead of google ads, as the setup should work with any.

What about the focus of splitting revenue payments automatically though, maybe after an amount is earned before payout... anyone see an obvious way to do this?

For that you need to develop a separate ad server where you can monitor every thing. It is a tough job to do with huge investment cause you need to hire staff who will contact business to advertise on your website. The first thing advertisers ask how many views your website get. Usually they prefer to reach out to millions. If you get that many views next thing is to negotiate per view price etc. Rest you need to develop a mechanism to monitor your ad payment system. i think there are modules which allow you to show ads on your website along with other details  but they don't provide solution like google adsense do.
