Hi All,
Don't know where to post this, so probably here.
My thoughts are about this relatively new Boonex Market system.
When you create/edit product, you have to attach a file with the product (but what if it's a service which doesn't have any files?). I click on the field "From PC", choose a file, click "Upload" button and waiting a couple minutes until it's uploaded, but when upload is finished, it shows error like something "Version must be in this format: 1.0.0." Who knows before uploading what format to use?? So I must change its version, choose a product file one more time, click Upload and wait couple more minutes to get it uploaded, then if there are no description ("Description"), it shows me next error and I have to upload file and wait over and over again. When finally everything is ok and I click "Submit" button at the bottom, it uploads my file one more time - I have to wait a couple more minutes - and after this "final" upload it can show me some more errors on a form, so I have to correct them and click Submit, and it keeps uploading my file over again...
This is very bad usability, it MUST check for errors BEFORE uploading a file, NOT after. User don't have to wait until it upload his file in order just to show some errors on a page. Please check this form from user's view, not from developer's view: for instance user never know what format to use for "Version" field (until it will throw an error message with an example, only after you upload your file) and what must be in "Name" mandatory field under "Courtesy info". Also it's possible to remove mandatory fields there under "Courtesy info", then if there's any errors, you will never figure out where is it came from.
And how to remove old products from the market completely? I have a couple "one week offers" that I'm not gonna use one more time, I don't want them to make a mess with new and old offers. And when you look at your own market page with your products listed, it's not clear where's Active and Not Active products. Isn't possible to make non-active in gray color or something?
Can't you guys just take one day and make it clear for understanding and normal? I understand that we all are busy, but if you do something, do it right and finish it completely or don't even start it.
Thanks.
